Sitting in his silver, 88 Cutlass Supreme, Drake mentally checks what he has on hand, "Gun, nightstick, no Billy. Ready."
He gets out of his car, revealing he was wearing a Paladin's uniform. He walks to the entrance, guarded by security. They take a look at him, "Name?"
Drake replies, "Nimtrez, Xavier. Officer, 3rd class."
The guards move to the side, "Welcome."
Drake mentally sighs, "Is it suppose to be that easy."
He looks around, "When a new gallery opens, I didn't expect it to be a huge party like this."

Lloyd watched Drake enter, noticed the guards give him no trouble, and walk into the building. He waited for a few moments, allowing the man to move away from the guards before he detached himself from the wall and moved over.
'I don't think these guards are particularly adept at guarding anything more then their own arse,' he said softly.
While waiting for a reply, he produced a clear bottle from his pocket and took a drink. To anyone watching, it would appear he was drinking some type of liquor, when infact it was just a SoBe.

"What? No SoBe for me?" Drake jokes.
The magician then clears his throat, "So, did you have any clue where the book I need is?"

'No, no SoBe for you,' Lloyd replied, pulling another bottle from his other pocket. 'As for the book, I haven't found out very much. I suspect it might be on the fifth floor, because I "overheard" some of the guards talking about some transaction going on there, and that what ever it was was pretty d**n important. Other then that, nothing.'
He finished with another drink before putting the bottle away. He flicked his hand and summoned a small dagger, flicked it again and dismissed it. He continued to do so, a habit he had started and kept for when he was thinking.

Drake hisses at him, "We're in public, so keep it under control. Any details on who or what is being purchase?"

He looked over at Drake, then realized what he was doing.
'That I'm not entirely sure of either. Details are vague, but I think this book is one of the items of interest. Security is going to be double tight, and unless you have certain clearances that I'm quite sure not even you lovely Paladin uniform can bypass. There are four ways onto the floor I've found, short of going through the window and minus the obvious ways, of course. I haven't had a change to fully view the floor's layout, so there may be more. I leave that to you, as you're the one with some clearance. In the mean time, I have something I must take care of.'
He moved through the crowd and entered an elevator. He took it to the highest floor, then took the stairs to the roof. The moon was just starting to rise above the skyline. It was a full moon with a slight red tint to the edges. Lloyd walked out to the middle of the roof and dropped to his knees, closed his eyes and put his hands together, the middle and index finger facing up. He sat there for several minutes, then opened his eyes and watched the moon.

Drake sighs and puts his hands in his pockets, "The crowd here must be driving him crazy."
The magician then pulls his hands out of his pockets, "Wow, there's a secret action here. Sweet. I hope they take checks!"
He runs up to one of the guards, "Buddy, where can I find this?"

'Tel naga venous kiras naa jutil matil Lurimir kinos' he muttered, finally standing up.
Lloyd made his way back to the door, carefully rigging the lock so that it wouldn't lock on them, then propped it open a hairs breadths with a dagger just in case. He moved back to the elevator, checked it for cameras, then opened one of the panels using another dagger. He climbed up on top of the elevator, climbed several rungs on the service ladder, and entered a service shaft. He crouched inside and closed the shaft door before pulling out his cell phone and dialing Drake.

Drake was pointed to an elevator. Drake walks over and calls it. As soon as he did, he feels the phone vibrates. Drake reaches into his jacket and answers it, "Hello?"

'You need information on what's going on, right? Right now I'm in a service shaft above the 5th floor. If you have any idea what room this book is in, I'll scout it, grab the book if possible. What's so important about it anyway? Some book on how to summon a legion of naked chicks to do your bidding? We all know you need that,' Lloyd said, sounding fully serious.
While waiting for a reply, he moved slowly into the shaft, taking care to not hit any of the wire connectors sticking out from the wall.

Drake sighs, "Can you not be creepy and sound like you're joking, when you are... The book is one of a demon that I don't need to exist. And you don't need to steal it, I can out bid anyone here. So once I get in the elevator, wait for the door to close, then come in. We'll go together, just in case someone decides to crash that auction. Got it?"

'You just gotta spoil. . .hello, what have we here?'
He looked through the ventilation grate into a room. It was mostly dark, lit with candles that emitted a deep red. Etched into the floor was a summoning circle.
'I think I found an ulterior use for said book. Said book can summon the daemon, right? If so, I know what they want to do. Unless this thing is a full time circle for summoning happy bunnies and flowers to bring world peace.'

Drake sighs, "Do you know what floor it is on? Yes, it's a demon, but it's important to know where it is, just in case they have the book I want, or a different one I can still take."

' 'Tis on the 5th floor, though I'm not sure which room. I could-hold on, someones entering.'
The door opened and three people entered the room. They wore long black robes with a hood. He set the phone aside and summoned a dagger, carefully unscrewing the vent. He popped the vent up carefully and moved it aside. He heard a low muttering in a language he didn't understand.
'I'll call you back, assuming,' he said quietly into the phone.
Hoping the people were too focused on what they were doing, he threw the first dagger and broke the circle before dismissing it and summoning another one. He continued and broke most of the lines before finally elongating a dagger to form a short sword, and dropped in.

Drake hisses into the phone, "Lloyd you better not be doing anything!"
The magician sighs, as he figured that the boy hung up on the other end. Then his phone rings again, Drake answers it, "Lloyd, what are you doing!"
A voice of a little kid was saying, "Who's Lloyd?"
Drake sighs, "Wha' do you want, Billy?"
"When are you going to pick me up?"
Sounding more irritated, "I thought we went over this, I'll pick you up, once I'm done. Got to go!"
As Drake ends the call, a "Bye, Drake," was cut off. Drake then looks at the elevator, noticing it was stuck on level 5, causing him to run to the fire escape. He opens the door and runs up the stairs, to reach level five before Lloyd could do something disastrous.
