{I was referring to Drake}
Hanging up the phone he sighs, "That idiot better not get himself killed. Why did I even agreed to taking him in the first place."
The auctioneer appears, as if he was going to begin, "Ladies and gentlemen. There will be a slight delay. I apologize for the wait, it'll start in about five minutes."
The magician angrily thinks, "More of Lloyd's doing?"

[Ahh sorry, it was hard to tell.]
The two ran underneath him and continued down the stairs. He stayed in his perch for a few more moments until his grip started to slide. He landed heavily on the stairs, but jumped up and reentered the 5th floor. He walked slowly and acted like he knew where he was going until he happened on the auction room, 4 minutes later. The door attendant had moved away and the door was open. He took a spare bidder paddle (thingy) and walked in and sat next to Drake, though he acted like he didn't know the man.
'I had no idea what was in the d**n book, so I didn't get it. However I did run into some new friends and they just seemed incessant on following me around, but I managed to lose them,' he muttered to the magician quietly, loud enough for only Drake to hear.

He was tempted to hit the boy with the paddle, but instead just verbally lash at him "What are you thinking! If you waited a couple of seconds, I would have told you not to try anything. When are you going to start thinking, this is a rare opportunity for us! To do something legal for a change, with no risk to our lives! If you want to kill yourself, do it after I bought the book!"
It may have been a whisper, but Drake shrinks into his chair, as if he yelled it to the crowd. He sighs, as he awkwardly apologizes, "Lloyd... I didn't mean that... Just haven't slept for days, and Billy was being a brat last night, and I just don't want to do any fighting, otherwise it's going to resemble a war zone. Please, don't do anything unless I order you to."
He rubs his eyes, sleeplessness taking effect, "So, did you manage to see what the book was about?"

Lloyd blinked his eyes several times, not saying anything. He just nodded slightly after the apology. After several more moments he finally replied.
'There were about forty books in the room. Six of them were opened and on a pedastol. I don't know what ones was the one we're after, but a quote from one I read 'Juki naa frjilo dunkel kenos.' It goes on with more stuff I don't remember. Any idea what that actually says? And if Billy is being such a pain, whack him or send him to me to deal with.'

He tries to cover his yawn during the report. He waited for the boy to finish to quickly say, "It sounds made up, it would have been Latin or some other ancient language. I won't hit Billy around, do you think he'll actually take it well? Anyways..."
The magician covers his mouth for a minute, the noise was evident it was a huge yawn. The conversation continues, "Lloyd, hitting him would be me pulling out my gun and shooting you in the kneecap. You'll scream and run away; not the best thing to do now is it? I'm sure if those words summoned anything, it wouldn't be your dignity."
