Name: William “Zelk”(his real last name hasn’t been found out yet)
Alias/Nickname: Billy (what he is normally called by), Mercury (When he was only known as a cat)
Age: Doesn’t tell (Drake estimate is 6-8; but mostly going with 6)
Gender: Male
Personality: He has abandonment issues, meaning once he has a friend, he’ll so anything to keep that person from leaving, including following that person around. If someone leaves him by himself to long, Billy will start a scene, with crying and everything, blaming the person for letting him think that he’s going to be abandoned. This can get rather troublesome, as Drake wants Billy to go to school, mainly so he can have more afternoons to himself, as Billy does rarely anything else but watch the clock, not wanting Drake to be late. Other than that problem, he’s a bright, energetic, and tries to be helpful. He knows not only how not to get caught doing something, normally stealing treats, but how to manipulate and charm most adults, esp. women, taking from watching Drake. He drives Drake insane, as he always wants to do something and doesn’t want to sleep; making Drake wish that he did have ADHD for a reason to shove Ritalin down his throat. If Drake is trying to do something, it’s only natural that Billy wants to help. The only job he doesn’t seem to mess up is magic, using it and helping in it. With that as his only skill, he tries to point out that it’s because he is a familiar. Drake had convinced him that he believes him, but has no idea that Drake doesn’t believe him. There is no one at the present that can verify him being a familiar. To tell the truth, no one that can verify who says who, or what he is; Drake is so skeptical of anything he reveals about himself; also gets annoyed that Billy can switch from being intelligent and not letting anything make him depress; to letting everything depress him so much, he doesn’t think. Other than having abandonment issues; he also fears thunder and lightning. The only secret he reveals to Drake is, he’s a familiar and he loves sweets, especially pudding.
Appearance: One word can describe him well; scrawny. He’s skinny, as Drake suspects from living on the streets; red, curly hair, which is almost long enough to cover his eyebrows; big, light tinted, blue purple eyes, he has astigmatism but doesn’t have blurry vision; oval-shaped head, smaller nose than most people, and his left arm happens to be one inch shorter than his right, though not that visible. He has a weird looking cat form; something I would describe as a raccoon ferret. He’s poofy, mainly white body, a brown ‘mask’ around his eyes, orange tail, skinny, and small. Part of the reason he appealed to Drake, such an unusual kitten, probably never see one like him again.
Family:If you haven’t figured out; he doesn’t tell much, but will talk about “Mommy” at times.
Lover: He has a crush, but again won’t tell (He’s a d**n annoying kid! God! He’s hard to work with!)
Offspring: I would like to say no; then again, that could be one of his secrets.
Type: Shifter, but claims he’s a familiar (magician’s guardian)
Powers: He can shift into animal forms, but is too comfortable being in his cat form. He’s learning magic, and is good at it, especially with healing and fire. He is really good at keeping secrets.
Weakness: He won’t change into any other form, even to save his life. Though good at magic, he tends to cry about his injuries than healing them and will overkill with fire spells, mostly causing severe recoil. His fear obviously will control him. When he shifts, the clothes he wears falls off, so when he changes back, he is naked. It kinda annoys Drake, when Billy pulled a stunt like this in public. No one seen him changed from cat to boy; but they did see him and all of his naked glory. He is really good at keeping secrets.
History: Doesn’t tell Drake of course. So this is what Drake had put together so far, in a notebook.
“He was living with his mom. Something happened to her, causing him to live on the streets. He’s been on his own for as early as 4 months to 7, guessing if his hair grows like mine. During that time, he survived by obviously stealing people food, though his cat form should’ve made cat food bearable. I’m guessing he was living in the near by city. How did he get to my house in the middle of the country, probably by hitching a ride with me or some other vehicle that drove past here. That’s when I found, named him Mercury. For the last two month, it turns out it was him eating my treats, moving stuff, etc. At least it doesn’t prove my earlier hypothesis, this house being on am Indian Burial ground, or that I was going crazy.”
“He seems to be special, and I don’t mean in the retard way. Good thing this is a private journal, otherwise someone will think I’m insulting retards, then scream at me. He can shift into a cat; not his only form I believe, but won’t be anything else. Somehow, he is learning magic; the only reason I want him to be eight, so he doesn’t show me up. Other than that, he’s a hopeless kid. I don’t think anyone is after him or his mom; otherwise they would’ve found him by now and take him out; or they are crappy at finding people like the Church.”
“He’s so content on not letting me know nothing about him. I have to find a way to prove that’s he’s not a familiar, or a family for him to go bug instead. Needy, needy little jerk. Why couldn’t I be evil and left him as an outside cat…”
“I hate my left eye… Why does it have to see through clothes; or at least, make Billy a naked Jessica Beil.”
Sample post: He was freaking out, Billy can’t find Drake anywhere. He starts to tear up; hoping to find Drake.
“Maybe something happened to him! He wouldn’t of left me! Maybe he is looking at something, making him late!” trying to wonder why that he was forsaken.
He was walking up and down, every aisle of the entire store, ignoring people, who would say “Hi,”, “Aren’t you cute?”, “Looking for the toy section, kid,” and “Are you lost?”; to find Drake. Only finding strangers, he decides to check the bathroom. Tears start shimmering down his face, as he yells into the bathroom, “Drake! Are you here!”
He began to sniffle, as the only thing he heard was silence. He goes by the exit, where his lips began to tremble, remembering Drake saying, “Stay here, I’ll be right back.”
He began whimpering, when the greeter came to and asked, “What’s wrong?”
He hugged her, crying and confessing, “Drake left me here! He doesn’t want me anymore!”
As Billy cries on the lady, as Drake enters the door, heading to Billy saying, “Sorry man, I didn’t mean to forget you!”
As Drake approaches, he sees the gorgeous, brown haired, goddess that was the store’s greater, giving him a death glare.
Billy starts bawling, ”Why didn’t you come back right away! I thought you left me here!”
Now afraid of looks may actual kill, with several people ready to murder him; he takes Billy by the hand and heads out. Thinking to himself, “It was only 10 minutes! If he didn’t freak out like that, I could’ve asked out the cute lady, who looks good with clothes on and off!”
