Ruji looked up and down the street. He couldn’t remember where he had last seen his brother, but he was certain if he didn’t find him soon he would be severely punished later. Frankly he couldn’t see what Neko would be so worried about, it wasn’t like he was alone in this city. He did have Raiku with him after all.
Raiku walked just behind Ruji. The citizens of the town gave him strong looks of mixed curiosity and strangness. He sighed and mumbled, “It hasn’t been that long since the guardians disappeared. I shouldn’t be that odd of a sight.” Raiku didn’t like wandering around the city, he knew they were looking for Neko but he still didn’t like it. The city isn’t a safe place, especially since it is so close to night time here. Letting out another low sigh Raiku continued to follow Ruji, afraid to take his eyes off of him for fear he would run off after some spec of dust at random.

Both Kolbaine and Issun were tired; the man tired of the town, having every type of lodging possible being overfilled, and the whining and question of the boy who was tired of the strange, yet frightening place. The solider was jaded to all of the islander's fears; the possibility of car coming at them, the large crowds of strangers, they keep walking by; or even the gang violence that he has heard about. The last fear is unusual for Issun, as he always has thought that he would be the toughest person if a bad situation were to come. Then again, seeing one's home and family destroyed isn't a common event.
There were only a few, simple thoughts in the adult, "I hope to find a place to stay or someway..."
A scream of frustration, "Are we almost there!"
"I told you; soon," trying to appease him with a lie. "I don't care anymore. He's off the d**n island he isn't a complete idiot; so I can leave him whenever I want! I just need something to happen." He smirks when he sees a couple people approaching, "If it works, then I go ghost; if not, I will try it again tomorrow."
Kolbaine looks at the boy, noticing he was distracted with his thoughts. It was easy to slow down his pace, so he could follow Issun from behind. He waited a minute to see if the boy will do it on his own; however he didn't raise his head. The marine hopes his plan doesn't backfire, "Issun."
The boy perks up, looking where he remembered seeing Kolbaine, a couple of feet in front of him at 10 o'clock, "Yeah?"
The marine stays behind the boy, who looks frantically ahead of him, "Kolbaine!" As the frantic boy runs, the soldier heads down the next alleyway, "Take care of yourself Issun, once you realize you will never find me" Kolbaine takes a left, exiting the alleyway, determined to find a ride out of the city.
Issun forgets one of the first things taught by his grandfather, "Notice your surroundings." He dodges between people, determined to catch up and convinced that his friend must have went ahead of him. He was only scanning people to see if they matched Kolbaine's body, not caring if they were in the way or not. Then he notices, someone on his left, a tall man same height as Kolbaine. He continues to stare, only to see that it was someone else and not to see him running right in the stomach, of a person.
He quickly and forcibly lands on the ground, right after the victim did. His right shoulder feels as a painful, meaty-jello; as he had hurt it before as now the fall made it feel worse. While rubbing it, he looks around, first was the person he knocked down, someone older than him with red hair, then someone's legs, who was wearing something similar to white dress. He didn't clearly see the faces, but felt that he was being stared at; he turns his head to the left, looking at the ground, while making a slight, painful whimper.

Ruji was so determined to find his brother that he wasn’t even paying close attention to what was going on ahead of him. Before he knew it he had been knocked over on to the ground with a sharp nagging pain in his abdomen.
“Ow…what the…” he mumbled but before he could finish his pain quickly shifted to his head. This pain caused him to faint almost instantly, and continue his fall onto the cement of the sidewalk.
Raiku knelt down next to Ruji and sighed. Since Ruji was now passed out it was harder for Raiku to tell where he got hurt, however, he did know that he was hurt. Figuring that it was where he got hit hard enough to cause him to fall and the usual other culprit which was his brain, Raiku placed his right hand on Ruji’s stomach and his left on Ruji’s forehead. A light blue aura appeared at his finger tips as he took away any injury that might plague him when he would wake up.
After taking care of Ruji, Raiku could sense that someone else was in pain. But by this time the scene had attracted far too much attention for him to do much with out brining anymore unwanted attention to himself.
Letting out a low sigh, Raiku pulled his sleeves over his hands as moved over to the child who had knocked Ruji down. “Here let me help you up.” He said as he grabbed hold of the kids shoulders. His healing aura appeared the second he touched the child and he helped stand him up hoping that his healing would be masked by the motion and the blue of his sleeves.

He didn't know why; but Issun feels that his shoulder was healing, as the man helps him up. He was looking through the crowd as he says a quiet, "Thank you," to the man. He wants to leave, but the glares of the gathering crowd immobilizes him, he tries looking at the ground to see if the feeling would go away.

Raiku looked down at the kid then around at the crowd that had gathered. He could sense that the kid was uneasy in this situation and thought it would be mean to just leave him there, after all, he couldn’t see anyone running over to claim him and take him away.
Letting out a low sigh he knelt down next to Ruji and wrapped his arms around Ruji’s shoulders so he could move him. Standing up, now supporting the knocked out Ruji, Raiku turned to the child who was still standing there. “Hey would you mind giving me a hand and make sure that he doesn’t fall just in case I lose my grip on him?” he asked. “We’ll have to find an ice cream parlor or something before he wakes up.” He added in. He wanted to make the child a little bit happier and to make sure the first thing Ruji was exposed to when he woke up was ice. Hoping that he would just make the ice melt instead of blowing something up.

Lucky for Kolbaine, he found a bus station. He heads inside as a fat and happy woman at the kiosk asks, "What can I do for you?"
He reads the all the stops, "Aroum", catching his eyes. He takes out a 50 dollar bill and places it on the desk, "One way to Aroum, please. The one leaving in 10 minutes will do."
Luck was with him again, tickets were still available, so he received it and heading to where the buses were loading. He gets in, and decides to take a window seat, in the nearly full bus. He takes off his boots, puts them in the seat next to him. He was deciding if his job, in the casino city, if he should be a bouncer, for a club, or security for a casino. The only thing that he knew for sure, he doesn't have to take care of anyone besides himself. The bus driver announces the departure, leaving the depot, heading to the freeway. [Kolbaine leaves the post] **************************************************************************** Issun didn't know what to do; he wants to look for Kolbaine, but felt that he has to help for knocking out the person and being asked. "Okay," he says, thinking he can do both.

“Alright then, follow.” Raiku said as he started walking down the street. He was sure that there was some sort of ice cream shop that they had passed earlier. Backtracking down the street he and Ruji had just come from, Raiku searched for the parlor he thought he spotted earlier.
After a few blocks He spotted the ice cream parlor. “Right there it is.” He said aloud, but mostly to himself.
He was giving quite a few confused looks as he set Ruji’s unconscious body in a booth in one of the furthest corners of the parlor away from everyone else in the store. ’Oh God don’t tell me they think I am that weird…’ Raiku thought as he dug out Ruji’s wallet from his back pocket and walked up to the counter to order the ice cream.
Standing in front of the counter, Raiku waited till the cashier looked up at him before he ordered. “I would like one large strawberry shake please.” He stated then looked behind him toward the boy he had follow him. “What would you like?” he asked politely.

Issun follows the man, noticing that he was carrying the body correctly, "He's not going to drop him... Why did he want me to follow him?"
On the walk, he continues to think, "I'm a idiot... I lost Kolbaine and it will be impossible to find him in this stupid place! It's not like home... How would I even look for him! It's confusing and there's thousands of people around, and they keep moving, and he isn't going to know where to look for me! I am stupid! Maybe I should start fighting people! Then Kolbaine will hear about then come find me..!"
"Right there it is," says the robed man, interrupting the thought.
The boy follows him inside, not realizing that his fear and frustration was turning into anger. As far as he now notices, that energy, with the reminder of current events, starts to crush him. He stands by the booth where Ruji was sitting, realizing the extent of damage he'd done, "I'm a idiot... Maybe I was brought here to be punished..."
"What would you like?", the man again interrupts his thoughts.
Frustrated, "I don't know," Issun turns his head to the floor. Though he had heard the words, "ice cream parlor", he had no idea what they meant. In his life, he had ice cream twice; he had no way in knowing there was a place where one could buy it; even if he knew he could get food, he doesn't know what he wants and isn't hungry. "Why did I lose Kolbaine!"

Raiku shrugged at the questionable answer that the kid had given him and just paid the cashier for the shake. It took three minuets for them to make it and almost the entire time he kept looking over at Ruji hoping this new plan would work.
Taking the shake from the cashier he moved back over to the booth where he had left Ruji and placed the shake in his hands.
With Ruji now taken care of, Raiku sat down across from him. He looked over at the boy and he could sense that he wasn’t happy about something and Raiku felt almost obligated now to help fix what ever it was that was troubling the child. “Come here and take a seat. I have a question to ask you.” He stated.

The boy hold his head in his hands, not really thinking about anything. Grief has taken over; everything of his life was gone: family, home, and friends, Kolbaine being the last to vanish. He doesn't know what to do next; or more exactly, see himself living life. Covering his eyes, he sees darkness; he wishes to be part of that darkness, never to go through the pain of living again. Issun is reminded that he is still existing, "Come here and take a seat. I have a question to ask you."
He looks up, instead of darkness it was a strange place, with the main from earlier looking at him. The boy then collapses at the edge of the booth. He makes sure to turn his head away from the man, as he wasn't ready to look at another human face. He barely makes a sound, "What..."

Raiku sighed, this boy really was disturbed about something. Though he was sure his concern would be met with a mix of hostility and uncertainty like the last time he tried to help out someone, it just wasn’t in his nature to leave him alone. Like every other time when talking with a child he reached deep into his sleeve under the table and pulled out one of his feathers to be sure he was getting the full story.
“What’s on your mind kid, you are obviously troubled by something. If you tell us maybe we can help.” Raiku said calmly. ’Of course it will be we when the other half regains consciousness.’ he thought giving a brief look over at Ruji.

Issun sighs, "Not unless you can send me back in time... To stop stuff that happened..."
He just hopelessly looks outside to the alien world; hope not to be seen. He feels that he must accept his fate; never to be with anyone he cares about, ever again. He starts the scratch his head, but stops; another painful reminder of something he's lost. The boy feels heavy, expecting that weight to make him crush the table.

Raiku rolled his eyes, ’Great it appears I have yet another fun case…’ letting out a low sigh Raiku looked down at the boy once more. “It’s rather late are you lost or just trying to find your place in the world, because either way We would be glad to help you.” He said trying to sound empathetic.
As Raiku spoke to the boy, Ruji was slowly regaining consciousness. He could feel a sudden pain in his forehead that just seemed to grow the closer he got to becoming conscious once more. When the pressure reached its limit in his head, Ruji let it out by accidentally making the one and only thing causing his temperature to attempt to stay normal to explode. Soon the large strawberry shake that was placed in his hands by Raiku was all over the booth that they were sitting in.
“Huh…its all sticky” Ruji chirped as he woke up. His eyes glimmered brightly as he scanned the shop with excitement. “OH hey this is an ice cream shop! OOO Raiku we should get some ice cream!” He said happily, ignoring the fact that he was covered in ice cream.
All Raiku could do was sit there in amazement. ’I somehow should have seen this coming…’ he thought lowly sighing as he wiped the sticky strawberry syrup from his face.

Issun was about to reply; but they mind set vanished as the explosion went off. His response was sliding on the floor, away from the booth. The floor was recently waxed, causing him to go further than expected. He yells, both frightened and angry, his eyes on Ruji,"It's happening again, what am I going to do! NO, I'm not going to let it happen again! It's him, isn't!"
He gets into stance and walks to him, "It's going to end NOW!" His muscles tensed as a table was in his way, so he quickly smashes it, in half, with his arm. As he approaches, his expression got more angry, ready to kill the threat.

Raiku reacted quickly to the boys sudden burst of rage by surrounding the boy and Ruji in an electric barrier. Unfortunately that gained him more attention than what he was bargaining for as everyone that could see him was now staring at the guardian and the two boys trapped in electric shock barriers.
“Great… Now you calm down before you hurt yourself.” Raiku sighed as he ignored everyone else and focused the rest of his energy on making sure that the two didn’t kill them selves with the voltage of the barriers.
Ruji quickly found out that the shiny flashing covering that was surrounding him actually hurt if you tried to get out of it. He didn’t understand why Raiku would surround him with something that hurt but he was sure there was a reason for it.
